Safety
Child safety standards
Crossways does not allow child sexual abuse or exploitation. This page says who can use Crossways, how to report a concern, and what we do with a report.
Our position
Crossways does not allow child sexual abuse or exploitation, or any material that shows or promotes it. This applies to every account, on every part of the app.
Who can use Crossways, and what it holds
Crossways is for people aged 18 and over. We do not verify age: signing up is the declaration.
The app has no photos, no video, no messages, no posts and no public profiles. Each person is shown to the friends they accepted as a display name and a city, and to nobody else. There is no search, no directory and no feed.
Report a concern
If you have a concern about a child's safety, or about a person using Crossways, email info@crossways.app with the subject “Child safety concern”. Tell us what you can: the name the person appears under in the app, and what happened.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States you can also report online sexual exploitation of a child to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
